There's a bit out on the <a href="/http://might-and-magic.ubi.com/heroes-6 ... ">official page</a> about the <b>Conflux web</b>, offering an upgraded experience:



- See your profile progression (player details, Dynasty details, personal stats).

- Generate a gamecard to show your friends how you progress.

- Level up your Dynasty weapons in the Soul Forge section.

- Unlock web "exclusive content" for your game in the Altar of Wishes.

These are more reasons for me not to buy this game. When I buy a game I want it and all that the game has to offer. This may not be unique in the current gaming world, but it has/will drive me away. Hopefully someday a complete version with all the online content included will go on sale. Assuming it meets the other requirements I have (a user-friendly campaign editor) then I will buy it off the clearance rack.

The conflux allows multiplayer only when the Ubi server is working.

H5 had a LAN mode, so no server was needed.



My biggest problem with H6 is that there is no LAN mode. So far, the server has been down twice since the debut. Unless you like playing alone, this really blows.

Games do have a shelf life. Wait too long there will be no reason to have an editor, no one will be playing anyway.

Anyone else get the Soul Forge to work? And which dynasty abilities are the 'web exclusive' ones? Most don't have descriptions when you click them.

For the Soul Forge : just click on the Weapon, then click on the big Soul Forge button. There will be a confirmation pop-up, and that's it. (Of course it doesn't work if your Weapon uis already on max level)

It doesn't work at all. All weapon icons are locked.
Same for Altar of Wishes - it doesn't load at all (endless loading icon).
Maybe it works for people who use default Conflux page but I am redirected (no matter if I want or not - and I don't want) to my language Conflux page and this feature not work.

Did you try to change the language in the top-right corner ?

Yes (thanks for tip - it's hard to notice because there is no PL language icon or name and tab is nearly invisible), same thing - all weapons are blocked and "AVAILABLE items in the altar of wishes"and "Owned items" don't load at all.

Weapons don't matter to me as I have them at max lvl from some time, althrough IMO they shouldn't have locked icons.

Agreed, one benefit to a good user friendly editor is it extends the life of the game. Look at H3 and H-IV, I doubt H5 or 6 will last nearly as long.

This worked for me! Well, somewhat. I changed the language to French and was then able to make use of the soul forge. The Altar of Wishes still never loads, however. Also, my problem was that the data for the forge was never loading, rather than showing up locked. Thanks for the tip!

Well, the US version is now working for me as well. Maybe Ubisoft just fixed it, lol. Then again, perhaps changing the language to and from did something that helped. /shrug

edit: Ubisoft didn't change anything. When I swapped back to english it sent me to the UK site instead of the US. In any event, it works, it's in English, so I have no problem anymore, other than the new Altar of Wishes still never loading.
