I know it sounds stupid ( and believe me I am really no windows fan ), but did you try to save it, exit and load the save ?aaelgr wrote:How do you change from 1st Tears to 2nd Blood (or vice versa)? I know it's doable, but now that I've managed to get enough Blood for the 2nd class the button isn't there...

Is there a listing of the level caps in the campains?
It would be helpful to know for saving the buildings in wich you can increase a level ("Schrein des Siebten Drachen" in German - maybe "Shrine of the Seventh Dragon" in English) for the right time!

Thanks, but I can't seem to find Sandor hero (Barbarian/Stronghold) Special ability in this Skill summary app, where is it?Avonu wrote:I think it's better to use H6 Skill Summary - it's quicker and more intuitive.
The ability says (my game is in Russian) 'Gladiator' and the icon is a sword + a hand pointing forward. What does that skill do? How can I find it in the Skill Summary applet?
May the Implosion be with you!
That's Sandor's special ability, it's not on the skill list since you can't learn it. every hero has one. If you right-click on that icon, you should be able to read a description, but I know at least in the german version it's bugged ingame and only shows the skill name twice. See if you can find that skill when you create a dynasty hero if that happens to you, the tooltips work there for me.
I have the Russian version. Yes, it just shows the skill name twice - so no idea what the skill actually does.Ell1e wrote:That's Sandor's special ability, it's not on the skill list since you can't learn it. every hero has one. If skills are missing, they should be added.
Also, the hero's other main skill does appear in the Skill list, but with the wrong icon. Maybe the skill list is outdated??

Did you check the users manual we spoke about some days ago ? It is also in Russian and I think all heroes are described there, so special abilities should be described too.Naki wrote:I have the Russian version. It's hero specialisation, like Nymus' "+1 to Elite Growth". You can check it in-game when you are creating new hero - you choose its specialisation at he end and you can read its description.Naki wrote:Thanks, but I can't seem to find Sandor hero (Barbarian/Stronghold) Special ability in this Skill summary app, where is it?Avonu wrote:I think it's better to use H6 Skill Summary - it's quicker and more intuitive.

IIRC Gladiator gives +2 to (hero) Might.
I haven't read it yet, will do so tomorrow...peta62 wrote:Did you check the users manual we spoke about some days ago ? You do not have to read the whole book, I use it more as reference manual, just check the Table of Contents and read the particular hero page.Naki wrote:I haven't read it yet, will do so tomorrow...peta62 wrote:Did you check the users manual we spoke about some days ago ? But it would be wiser to start game with custom hero from scracth.• Map fixes
o Custom heroes can be properly selected at the final campaign screen.
It seems that savegames sometimes keep old bugs after last patch (althrough I am not 100% sure of that) and the best way to play patched game is to start a new game.

Hello everyone,
Regarding a hero's mana, will taking the prime magic ability which gives +2 magic power also give +20 mana? I think I read somewhere mana is sum of heroes magic attack and def..
Also, does taking Light magic 1/2/3 (hero gains 3 magic power - light) increase damage dealt by creatures using light magic, say sisters?
thanks

What is the ascending order of THREATS?
1) How are the threats rated: Is it trivial/low/high/severe/deadly?
2) How can you tell how many creatures grow in town each week?
3) Is there a Tutorial on how to use the Game Setup options or explain what everything means. eg Global Difficulty, Aggressive A1 ON/OFF (I chose OFF)
I'm playing the Skirmish games to try & learn how to play after fumbling through the Tutorial game - the 23 page manual on the disk assumes every player already knows how.
