If your hero levels up/gets enough Blood/Tears points, then he/she can change his "rank". So for example, he becomes from Knight to Paladin/etc.
A question: Does getting Blood first, then getting Tears have any difference compared to getting Tears first then Blood?
When the hero changes his rank, does that mean he gets some abilities and loses some, compared to if he chose the other option first?
Another question: Can I just get ALL abilities - get BOTH Blood and Tears? Does it matter if I get 1st Blood then 2nd Blood then 1st Tears then 2nd Tears, compared to getting 1st Blood then 1st Tears then 2nd Blood then 2nd Tears, or getting 1st Blood then 1st and 2nd Tears then 2nd Blood?
Thanks!

Every hero can only get advanced classes twice: once with 250 points, once with 1000. You get a bonus ability, depending on path, at each such level up. So yes, there's a difference between tears-then-blood and blood-then- tears, and both are different from going pure.

From my experience, it can go like this:
You can only be Blood / Tears oriented at any one time. Hence, no "mix"
You can go from
Blood 1 -> Blood 2
Blood 1 -> Tears 1 (there's some achievement for this)
Blood 2 -> Tears 1 (there's some achievement for this)
And the exact same (in reverse, obviously) as above goes for Tears.
You -obviously- need to have enough points in the other path in order to switch............I think I've done it once from Blood 1 to Tears 1
Hope this helps

You can advance from Tears 1 to Blood 2 or from Blood 1 to Tears 2 (but not from Blood 1 to Tears 1 or from Tears 2 to Blood 1 or 2) and you get all abilites of new path. However you forgot your previous path abilities.
In campaigns you can't change reputation, when you choose Tears or Blood path, you will stick with it to the end.
