Hello!
Just wanted to let everyone know I found a way to set the per-stack initial ATB random maximum value to zero, instead of 0.25.
Not sure if someone already did this, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
The patch can be found here:
Zero ATB Patch
The patch is made for ToTE version 3.1 and modifies the H5_Game.exe.
Use it at your own risk, and if you don't trust it, feel free to scan it at virustotal.com or whatever.
Please, back up your original H5_Game.exe before doing this.
For those of you that want to do it manually, the patch changes a float constant from 0000803Eh (0.25 decimal) to 00000000h (0 decimal) at file offset 6734F7h.
No random ATB patch!

Call me loony tunes, but I think taking away random starting ATB is like taking away franks red hot sauce. It'd be pretty plain without it. If every conflict was %100 predictable, it would be boring. Also, that randomness works both ways. It help you in some fights.
And of coarse, what happens when 2 identical units face off? Does it just give first move to the attacker, or what? There must be some level of chance! It's a neat idea, but if anything, I'd want more randomness.
