25-30 times? I can't even remember how many times I've played through Deus Ex, and I'm still finding new things. If it was just nostalgia and bias, I would've gotten bored out of my mind after the 10th playthrough.
I doubt anyone has truly found all the little secrets hidden in that awesome game.

That is superb writing! I guess, it still ends up being a matter of preference, because it would be unfair to compare the two of these great moments in gaming history.Humakt wrote:Anyway, it can't top this (didn't find better video which would have more than just the video portion of the monologue): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIWFamOkBGQ

Did you know that there were plenty of medbots in the first level of Deus Ex?hatsforclowns wrote:25-30 times? Yeah, they were inside a "container". There were 2-3 containers if I recall correctly. I asked it because not that it was something hard to find but it was something missed too easily. I found it out way later (about 5-6 years after I first played it ), and a lot of my friends were very surprised when they first saw it.

Just finished Human Revolution. Truly, a masterpiece.
Only thing that bothered me at all was that story was somewhat similar to first Deus Ex. Different enough though. Some have given critique of the boss battles, but I think only the first one was bad.

Same here. A few years later when I was sneaking past that spot, I noticed the "text" and looked at it, saw the "box reticle" that appeared, and went "WTF!?"TheUndeadKing wrote:Yeah, they were inside a "container".
