With only 3 levels of creatures, I'm not surprised that the best isn't (relatively) as strong in H6 (compared to the worst) as in earlier games.vicheron wrote:Heroes 6 seems to be slower paced than previous games. For example, in previous Heroes games, a level 7 creature can kill 10 to 20 level 1 creatures in one hit. Even the weakest level 7 creature, the Bone Dragon, can kill about 6 Halberdiers, the toughest level 1 creature, in one hit. In Heroes 6, a champion creature can kill one or two core creatures in one hit. The Champion unit with the highest damage, the Enraged Cyclops, can only kiill 3 Coral Priestesses, the Core creature with the lowest hit points, in one hit.

But AI & graphics should be better, design more thought out, hopefully it will come, let see. Because why to set up low standards?

Yup. That'll require more strategy than only sheer overwhelming numbers (than before).Qurqirish Dragon wrote:With only 3 levels of creatures, I'm not surprised that the best isn't (relatively) as strong in H6 (compared to the worst) as in earlier games.vicheron wrote:Heroes 6 seems to be slower paced than previous games. "There’s nothing to fear but fear itself and maybe some mild to moderate jellification of bones." Cave Johnson, Portal 2.
Except it doesn't. Battle just gets dragged out. In fact, less strategy is required since you basically just have to pile on to on stack of creatures at a time in order to kill it faster than it can be healed. Not to mention the fact that since every creature is so tough, there's a lot less risk involved in the moves you make. In previous games, you can lose entire stacks of creatures by making the wrong moves. In this game, you'd have to make a lot of mistakes to lose just one stack of creatures since it takes so much effort to kill even the weakest creatures.Panda Tar wrote:Yup. But they aren't as strong period because of the lack of the attack skill even though creatures still have defense.Qurqirish Dragon wrote:With only 3 levels of creatures, I'm not surprised that the best isn't (relatively) as strong in H6 (compared to the worst) as in earlier games.
Creatures just have damage, they don't have the attack skill anymore. Only the heroes have the attack skill. However, creatures still have the defense skill. So basically, champion level creatures without a hero can do around 40 to 50 damage against core creatures, 30 to 40 damage to elite creatures, and 20 to 25 damage against champion creatures. Core creatures have about 20 to 30 hit points, elites have 80 to 100, and champions have 250 to 300.Blocks100 wrote:"Bring back the attack skill for creatures."
Wot, are you telling me that creatures don't have any attack values?? Does not compute
