Gone gold just means they have finalized the software and the order on which things are going to be on the discs....

Usually also means they have produced the final image that will be sent to the disc manufacturers.

This doesn't mean that they are done with the manuals, the inserts, the boxes, shipping to the stores for distribution and so forth...

I wouldn't be surprised if they are a week, or more, late if any of the above isn't yet completed...

I can't wait though...
