Hivemind = order. Or, at least, it means they aren't chaotic.
Klavis Verge is an out-of-universe character. Besides, he is refering to the problem in Enroth, which are certainly chaotic. Yes, Kreegans spread chaos, death and destruction on the planets they conquer, but that doesn't make them themselves "chaotic" per se.

No, it is established in the manual. It's just a "tutorial" character. He even mentions keyboard and constanly breaks the fourth wall by addressing the player directly. I understand that you may have said this just to accuse me of making up facts, but Klavis Verge is clearly out-of-universe. He's like a link between us players and the game.Corlagon wrote: Says you

Indeed. If we define "chaotic" as spreading destruction and chaos, the similiary hiveminded Zerg from StarCraft could be classified as chaotic, as well as the Kreegan.GreatEmerald wrote:Those who write about them don't give a damn if it does or doesn't make them chaotic They only outline that they spread chaos, without looking into the semantics.

Not at all. But there is no NWC statement to tell us he isn't canon. They never said anything about him. So to say he "doesn't count" is conjecture. It's exactly like saying certain H2 heroes are canon or not based on some criterion (which I did too in the past).XEL II wrote:I understand that you may have said this just to accuse me of making up facts
It makes no sense to assume that Klavis Verge is in-universe, he's just a breaking of the fourth wall. Not all facts must have direct NWC statements, many things are clear from the games themselves. Same for the recruitable heroes: inclusion of them in Enroth would make too many namesakes, however, one can fit some of them in that way (like NWC did with Sandro, Yog and several others).

A minor mistake I noticed:
Both wizards were released from their curse by the Ultimate Adventurers in MM III and told them their respective halves of the initialization sequence that activated Lincoln. In Wildabar – once aswarm with Ninjas - a ship will take us to the Isles of Illusion, where the feuding ghosts of the wizards Greywind and Blackwind are locked in eternal battle.

After MM III, probably. The "tour" takes place about 15 years from MM III (25 from MM I), all the problems that the city had would already be solved.

Oh, and by the way, how are you gonna "visit" Enroth? It's about 14-15 years after MM III/VII, the Reckoning would have already occured by this time.
Also, please, don't forget Ardon.

When will the next part be released?
And maybe visit CRON before going to Enroth? It's unfair to skip such an important part of the series (and arguably the setting of the largest game in the whole MM).

Dunno. But I can tell you it is already written and has already been sent to translators, even before this one was posted.

Wait, wait, wait....why does it say in this article that Lord Ironfist was the one who murdered his brother for the throne? In HoMM, wasn't Archibald the one who tried to murder Roland, causing him to flee to another land with his loyal knights? Unless this was the initial conception of the story arc and they changed it later for HoMM.
"A Guardian is always prepared." - Galio, the Sentinel's Sorrow
That was about Ragnar Ironfist and his nephew cousin Morglin Ironfist, father of Roland and Archibald.
Morglin flew his uncle cousin's kingdom, after unsuccessful attempt to murder his father murderer usurper's son and landed at the end on Enroth, when he created his own kingdom, much larger and richer then Ragnar's.
From HoMM1's manual.

Ragnar was Morglin's cousin, it was Morglin's uncle (Ragnar's father) who killed his brother (Morglin's father) to seize the throne. This made Morglin the rightful heir, so he tried to assasinate Ragnar, but this failed, so he fled with a group of followers to Varnal Hills, where they entered some unknown portal (not Gates to Another World) on the border of Ragnar's realm, and ended up on Enroth.
