In Heroes VI, you can create your own heroes to use in multiplayer. As you play, you will unlock new portraits to be used for customisation.

After that, you can dress him up in an assortment of clothes, make-up, whigs ... Naaah.

Sweet character model! I also like that they brought back Atlas and Shiva...they look mad weird though...Atlas has a fat neck and Shiva has a giraffe neck...

Something like this would have been awesome to have in HoMM4. The changes in specialisation could have been reflected etc. But no, we got deadlines instead

Well it doesn't seem to be for SP... but it might just not work for the beta... i for one haven't found how to use the heroes you create at least...

Why in the heck can't you do this for single player also?! One of the things I've disliked about all of the heroes versions is not being able to design your own characters.

Because the SP has a story to tell... with fixed characters...

But it looks like you can modify Irina's might and magic skill preference... Slava is locked though...

@ToweringAmishPlumber: you cannot use custom characters for campaigns, but of course if you decide to play a skirmish map (MP map but in SP against AI players) you can use your own characters (for both you AND the AI by the way

)

But can we use them at a higher level then 1?
