that's because of this guy:TheUndeadKing wrote:And what's really funny was that his name was actually "Duke Nukum" in the first game.
Luckily the guys behind the cartoon didn't secure the rights to the name or something.

IMO DNF is bit of a disappointment, even aside fact that no quality of game can meet hype that was built for 12 years.
Of course graphics isnt most needed thing in game but for fps it is still vital factor, so in that department game is really stuck in few year past, especially texture quality, also animation(specially for human models) is really poor, which is quite bad and unacceptable in age when we have things like COD:MW2 where scenes on engine were really cinematic.
Game itself had it;s fun moments but it will go in background like many other mediocre shooters, like quake 4 or other games that I hardly remember. Of course it tries to shock in style as postal 2, but (risking sounding snobbish) it seemed very immature at times. Putting number 69 in all possible places wasn't funny in GTA:SA and it isnt funny here.

Ammo limit on devastator is mysteriously capped at that number. Can't recall seeing 69 being thrown aound conspiciously... not that i would be shocked by it.
Floor count in elevator on first levels happen to be 69 too.
At the ending he vows to run for president to replace 68'th president of US.
That to mention few I noticed on first run of game. Well it;s not as blatant as in san andreas but still.
