Ubisoft Report 2010-11 Results

In <a href="/http://hugin.info/143604/R/1515389/451620.pdf">this release</a>, Ubisoft have published their full-year economic results for 2010-11. In short, it has been a good year for Ubi; better than last year, anyway. Despite a 15.2% drop in the fourth quarter compared to last year, the total sales increased by 19.3%: Full-year sales for the fiscal year 2010-11 totaled €1,039 million vs. €871 million for the year before.

CEO Yves Guillemot said: "Ubisoft saw a sharp upturn in revenue and current operating income in 2010-11 and strengthened its financial position. (...) This performance was achieved thanks to our continuing creativity and an innovative multiplayer mode which proved highly popular with the large community of players who are increasingly engaged with the franchise. Our objective now is to replicate this success for our other strong franchises".

According to Guillemot, Ubi will focus on three main pillars next year: the "Casual" segment, "High Definition" (with such games as Assassin's Creed Revelations and Ghost Recon Future Soldier) and "Online" (where M&M: Heroes Kingdoms is mentioned specifically). M&M: Clash of Heroes for XBLA and PSN will be released in the first quarter (April-June) of 2012.

Ubisoft are currently restructuring their operations, <a href="/http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011- ... cancelling a series of planned titles in the process</a>. We hope that the release of M&M: Heroes VI will join in the general trend of increased sales, and be successful enough for Ubi to keep the franchise running for the foreseeable future.

That's a typo by Kalah. In the report itself, it says they will be released in the first three months of 2011-12.Since this is April-June, the release last month (April) of the games falls squarely where they said.
April-June 2012 is in the 2012-13 fiscal year for Ubi.
