That's just arguing semantics. Of course The Divine Comedy is just a novel/ epic poem, and not a part of the Bible. But it's so influential, it has become a part of the Christian mythological consciousness. Or are you going to deny that?

Refuting Dante is like refuting Malory as having become the definitive interpretation of the King Arthur myth.

However, even parts of the Bible describes the armies and horrific beasts of Hell. They're not all suave salesmen.

There are no descriptions of demonic armies in the bible that I am aware of. The closest you'll get has demonic beings ruling over human armies which obey them. So demons are boss-monsters not footsoldiers.

That's because all of them are at best what we would refer to as spirits. And that would really cut into Necropolis territory.

But of course the Bible is certainly not the only source for demons, i was just pointing out that the terms you're using are misleading...
