Actually I think that's one of the things I'm most worried about: way many pretty landscapes that would just as well be cliffs, woods or otherways unpassable. What good do beautifull graphics do when we get jaded and find something prettier?

I like this screenshot. The only thing I'd change is to make the trees dead and leafless as you approach the Pit lords.

Sure, some are mixes of two or more, but no point in overcomplicating the issue for what was being discussed.
