Well if you look at it closely you'd see that it's the same mask:

It's just that the DoW2 portrait makes it look like it's soldered on the collar or something... it would just need some depth so it looks like it can move around with the head.

I know about their masks. However on the models it doesn't look like some HL2 Combine soldier rip-off. Also portrait without the mask might look actually better.

Yeah, the mask looks a bit too 2D on the models...

And ST's had that mask before HL2 was around... they're just all based on the same real life thing...

Me, i like all the MP improvements that are coming now that GfWL is out...

Yes, it is obvious what was denying all those features to come.

Btw on RC is some discussion about "lame choices in wargear" of some heroes, which is something I quite agree with. Flak (=cardboard) armor for Lord Commissar to enable him execute? Come on...

Well i don't know about you, but i for one always get more murderous when i'm given crappy clothes...

Well, Lord Commissar wears Flak armour by default (IG Codex, p.92), so what is the point of giving him the same armor as a upgrade, although it comes with an ability upgrade? At least if it was some artificer's or a master crafted one.
