Diplomacy!
Okay, I just started playing this mod (I've completed all the M&M series, even the abysmal 9) and I'm stuck trying to find a person to teach me the diplomacy skill. Maeve's is open to me and I've completed the Seer's instructions to talk to the first two leaders but without the diplomacy skill I can't get in to see anyone else. Dude, where's my teacher?

Re: Diplomacy!
The 'Basic' Diplomacy skill can be obtained in Avalon from The Security Specialists between 6:00PM and 6:00AM.Good Old Dad wrote:Okay, I just started playing this mod (I've completed all the M&M series, even the abysmal 9) and I'm stuck trying to find a person to teach me the diplomacy skill. I finished TCC part 1 and wanted to continue with part 2 but the "TCCPt2Installer.exe" says that I must finish TTC part 1 first.
I read the instruction guide but even compatibility mode failed. I didn't use a cheat program or changed anything at the save game.
The cracker file is in the saves folder too and I really don't know what to do, can anybody help me?

Email your final SAVED Game to me and I'll have a look at it.Konfuzius wrote:I finished TCC part 1 and wanted to continue with part 2 but the "TCCPt2Installer.exe" says that I must finish TTC part 1 first.

Oppression Depression
Hi, Big Daddy Jim, so nice to see you here. Sorry I didn't mention it in my earlier post, but I am hugely enjoying your mod. I'm close to the end, I think, but still have a few items to tidy up. The only one I need help with, though is the Cleric promotion from King Jafar - I've arrested 4 of the 5 criminals, but can't find the perp guilty of oppression. Can you tell me which map he may be found in?

Since the location of the five 'perps' is randomly generated, I cannot tell you which map area Oppression is in. However, I can tell you this; he's in one of the Training Halls. So check 'em all until you find him.
Glad you're enjoying TCC Part 1 !!

do not know what you are speaking about but archer promoter lives on emerald island, next door to the weapon or armor shop (run around that buildings and see the door). the same quest - will give a rope for red mines as usual mm7. but you need to complete all corier guild quests first or he will refuse to give you a quest.GenocideMachine wrote:I feel like this is an incredibly pathetic question, but I can't find the last council member for the battle mage (archer) promotion for the life of me. Does anyone know where he's located now? I've been searching for a disturbingly long time

Thanks so much -- I forgot she was in Avalon. That's about the only area I had explored extensively because the diamond gargoyles drive me insane. I absolutely love the mod so far. The road of Might and Magic fan games and mods is littered with countless unfinished projects, and those with terrible translations -- but somehow, you've overseen two (three if one counts part two of the CC) of the best mods I've ever played,
It's a damn shame you've retired. Probably won't see another complete might and magic project in my lifetime.
Thanks to Maestro too for the great animations and his version of the MM7 mod, not to mention everyone else that helped work on the projects.

Unfortunately, no. TCC Part 1 is an entirely original game, though it uses the MM6 engine and terrain.

now i'm trying to improve my skills with full 3D not a simple sprites. try to study UNITY3D engine now cause this tool support mine 3D "poser" models and provide easy way to import 3D objects with programms that i work in. the only thing that i can now do - just create static 3D objects and import them into engine but who knows - maybe i will be able to import animated one too in some misty future.

Jeff ... Good to hear from ya!jeff wrote:Glad to see you still stopping by. It's hard to believe it's been a year since all of us were racking a brains out working on TCC.Big Daddy Jim wrote:BDJ
Yup. I stop by once in a while, as long as I can get access to a computer and the internet.
Only a year? It seems much longer than that. Yeah, the Team definitely worked our buns off getting the game ready for prime time. But it was worth it.
I'm glad it's 'over', though. I'm too old for that kinda work pace.

Does anyone know where the Bell of Summoning is? This dungeon is driving me insane, and I pray that the quest log telling me that I have to cleanse the temple is not true and I can just get away with finding the bell. It's *brutal* in there! I'm pretty much perma-cursed, and using spells is a major hassle. I, as far as I can tell, have searched the dungeon extensively for hours, but I can't find it no matter what. Does anyone have a screenshot of the location on the map, or something?
