Looks OK, although the horns are totally unnecessary here. Last time I checked, neither humans nor horses had horns.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorched. :D
In such case one more extra pair of horns doesn't matter.

I feel like centaurs should be a male unit. Female centaurs feel a bit like if you were to make male harpies.

and I'm not complaining to complain. I've liked all most of the other visual ideas. (I am skeptical about the gameplay ideas, though)

guess we won't see any more of those male/female gender changes associated with upgrades.

which is a pity, since you could easily accommodate both genders if you have alternate upgrades like hommv.

I think that having them as a shooter is a stupid idea anyway. Here you have something the size of a horse and they use a bow? Give 'em a big weapon; like a 2 handed sword, or club, or axe, or something.

they'd be worthwhile if they have the ability to dodge ranged attacks, or could move AND attack ranged, with the moved squares towards the target adding to the damage like horsemen.

like mongol horsemen, basically.

As I can see, their special ability is to be left-handed.

Not to mention the whole archer on horseback thing worked pretty well in reality too...

Making the arrow heavier is bad for aerodynamicity...
