It's a snake made of water... way better then just being another european style dragon with a different hairstyle like we got most of the time.

Gosh, the texture, it's horrible! It's like it actually had a decent texture and then someone tinted it blue so we can't see any detail!

But really, a water dragon? I guess it can be of the elemental type, but it still sounds pretty ludicrous.

Dragon Eel according to description on Ubi site. You should remember some of his... "kind" from Eel Infested Waters or Hermit's Isle. ;)

That's pretty cool! I'll bet the moving animation is terrific for this creature.

Does anyone other than me get weary of those who do nothing but rag everything posted here, as though they can do better?

From everything I've seen thus far, 6 will be the best looking HOMM yet, and I've no doubt play will be freshened up nicely.

Keep it coming UBI, some of us really do appreciate you keeping our beloved turn-based franchise alive!

Huh, in that case there is no excuse for the horrible texture. The Sea Monsters in MM6 had a lot better textures.

Maybe because Sea Serpent was created as 3D model first and later conversed to 2D sprites (as all models in MM6-8 and H3)?

They were, but that changes nothing. There were sprites from 3D models, here are the 3D models themselves. There should be no difference in screenshots whatsoever.

I like that fella, do I dare say ORIGINAL and awesome in the same sentence? I do so, at least its original to the HOMM series.

Bad pixelated??? I think it looks smooth and detailed enough, also what do you expect from a elemental/eel in form of textures? Also its kinda magical to, pure looks :p

I like the way the skin details look like rippling water... you'd never see this creature staring up at you from just below the surface, ready to attack.
