Perhaps it was some artwork for HoMM online? That features gnolls right?Panda Tar wrote:I'm not sure, but I would hazard a guess that it's not it, because I saw a black and white and more wolfish unit (also it was a small pic, like 100 x 100) holding a flail. There was another coloured pic aside the one I saw, and that might be this one.

The 15th at night is about half way through the month... i guess they broke even instead of delaying it for the latter half...ThunderTitan wrote:Well half the month has almost passed too, so i guess it confirmed itself.

It was this one - the thing is that it was in the middle of a HoMM 6 article. But I don't know where. The pic is this one, but it says it's the old HoMM 3 gnollThelonious wrote:this artwork perhaps?

Sylvans might come in a possible Expansion. I think there are too many people who like them to get them off the game - I'd rather have them than Inferno.

Well, we have to take into account the Ubi/Hole definition of 'new' not our definition. I've posted this elsewhere; story wise it doens't make any sense that the last faction will be naga; considering the other options: mage (ties to necro's and orcs recently set loose upon the world) and elves (splitting up and ties to faceless story).Mirez wrote:no sylvan, remember they said one NEW faction. Most likely swamp/naga based.
So I'm not that sure naga's will be in HoMM VI.
Yeah I remember this artwork. But wasn't that a concept for the HoMM online gnoll? Because in the early stages HoMM Online was supposed to be heavily based on HoMM III. Most probably it was in an article about HoMM VI because others saw HoMM online as HoMM VI?Panda Tar wrote:It was this one - the thing is that it was in the middle of a HoMM 6 article. I just hope Black Hole dont kill the Djinns like Nival did. And with that I mean the looks, they didnt make any sense!
i too hope for the return of the magical, atheistic, scientist Academy/Wizard faction. But please, if BH are gonna have Genies/Djinns among their ranks. Give them HEADS!
For crying out loud!

Well if they keep the tradition from H5 the new faction will be an old town with a new race in it... maybe they'll even keep the same town from H5 and we'll get Faceless in Dungeon...

You know Stonghold was so unexpected that i think it would have worked better to leave it for last... it would have definitely quieted down any talk about the "new" faction if people reacted not so good to it.

On a side note, I'm rather pleased by the Phoenix concept.
