Blue fire is hotter than orange and it FINALLY dosent have those idiotic dragon wings as in H5! Though lorewise it may morph into the fugly bird as we know it in H5, hybrid of Phoenix and Dragon. OR this Phoenix could just be another type of phoenix. Which I like ALOT more, not sure about the background lore about it though...

The impurities might make it hotter, causing a color change.ThunderTitan wrote:Isn't that just because of impurities?!Orfinn wrote:Blue fire is hotter than orange
Basically it works like this:
hotter = more energy = higher frequency emitted light = blue-shift.
Look at a burning log- the tips of the flame are red, the main part yellow, the bottom is blue, and often the very hottest part (particularly in duraflame or other chemical-treated logs) is invisible to the human eye- it has gone to ultraviolet.

Actually i think the orange is because of impurities...Qurqirish Dragon wrote: The impurities might make it hotter, causing a color change.
Of course a purer flame might be hotter.
