As promised, the Heroes of Might and Magic V demo was released today. It includes two maps from the Haven and Inferno campaigns, one single-player map and the duel mode with six heroes. You can download the 700 MB file from one of these locations:

As usual, they release demo just a day after i burned my graphic card, and i doubt my replacement (2MB PCI video card) will manage to run it

.... but dl is on the way anyway, 122Kb/s... almost reaching my bandwidth limit (1Mbit)

No crash by using Firefox (1.5.0.1) to me, installation is also complete, BUT: The game crashed because of an old ATI version! I´m waiting in Fileplanet line (31min left) for newest drivers, my typical luck:/

I've downloaded and installed it. It's always quits while loading the campaing or the custom game. Even with 640x480 screen and very low texture quality.

I've a laptop with 768MByte RAM, 1.5Ghz Pentium M and an ATI Radeon 7500 gfx board with 32MByte.

Open beta was running smoothly on this mashine. What' wrong? Have the performance reqs increased?

Ouch. At least you will be able to play it. As soon as it's downloaded and installed, I won't be able to play it due to a Constitutional Law and Contracts 2 final.
