The MM6 easter egg is here :D

Unread postby Super Goober » 30 Oct 2010, 22:11

Hi everyone.

You guys have a very good anti-spambot defense. Too good in fact, that thing was hard.

Anyway, I've been a longtime fan of (Heroes of) Might and Magic series. I first started playing as a little kid, when HOMM2 came out. I just fell in love with the game, although I was spoiled by the Map Editor. Then I got MM6 and the same magical experience. Those two games (along with a few others) were my childhood joys.

Then I got Heroes of Might and Magic 3, then 5, then MM7-8, and eventually, 9.

My latest joy is HOMM3: In the Wake of Gods. Whoever came up with the ideas for that mod should have been on the development team. I am hooked on that mod.

Kudos goes to the makers of Txtedit and MMArchive. With those, I can edit MM8 and HOMM3 to my heart's content.

HOMM2 and MM6 were magical times that will never be erased, no matter how badly companies screw up games today. Maybe one day, there will come another time where gameplay matters more than graphics.

Hi, and welcome to the board. Yes, I suppose we could polish the questions a bit, but it's to keep the bots away, you understand. Of course, having complicated control questions also allows us to keep the stupid and uneducated rif-raff away. ;)

Apparently Heroescommunity has become so damn popular that it's server is overloaded constantly, hindering me from bestowing my awesomeness upon it.

Therefore I've decided to grace this forum with my prescence. I am Adrius, don't look directly at me without sunglasses, my awesomeness is prone to blinding people. I am also very humble.

*looks around*

Damn this place is all modern and stuff. Scary ****.

Any other HC refugees around? Noticed Corribus in some thread but he's the only one so far :)

B-)

Hi, there, and welcome. Nice to have more awesomeness here, seeing as this forum is more awesome than HC. :D

Don't know too much about the HC regulars, but they're welcome here. Elvin is around here somewhere.

*looks around*

Elvin? Where are you! Get your butt over here!

Thanks for the welcome.

What kind of degrading newbie status is this? Leprechaun?

Elvin still needs to pay for my therapy sessions. Guy posted some link to plants that shouldn't be allowed to exist and since then I'm seeing penis-plants in Rorschach pictures.

Nature's evil, it should only be allowed to exist on postcards.
