Help Game Crashes after finishing last Sylvan Mission

After beating Nicolai in the last Sylvan mission, i get the Cutscene and after that the win screen, when I click ok the Game immerdiately crashes.

I'm running it on Windows Vista and I already tried everything from running it as Administrator to using all possible compatibility modes.

Game is patched to 1.6 EU version.

Also replayed the whole scenario, same crash.

Did anyone encounter the same problem?
Can anyone help me as I cannot continue the game since the last campaign won't be unlocked.

One of reason might be that global savegame(campaign.sav - one that keeps characters saved and etc) is damaged for some reason.
Can you finish any mission at all?

I just installed a mod which unlocks the campaigns, but i dont know if it did anything to the campaign.sav. anyway, i was able to finish the 1st mission of the wizard without the game crashing again.

but before installing the mod i downloaded a campaign.sav where everything was unlocked but then the game crashed as soon as i went to choose campaign in the main menu...

Hello His Divine Shadow and welcome on the heroes round table.

My guess is you play tribes of the east and you use the mod so you can play h5 and HoF campaigns? If so, reinstall the mod.
If you do have heroes 5 get rid of the mod. I'm sure someone here can provide you a savegame so you can choose which campaign to play.

Also which version do you have?
Did you patched the game before playing the campaign(s)?

i have installed neither expansion yet and the game itself is patched to 1.6
