Black screen during enemies turn

Hey,

I have played HOMM3 thoroughly and now decided to turn to HOMM5 Tribes of the East. What I really don't like is when you end your turn, screen goes black when the enemies start moving. Is this a feature in the game or can it be turned off? Atm it messes my game. Like in HOMM3 you could see enemies moving at the revealed part of the map during their turn.

I still see it when enemies are sneaking around, the black screen only happens when you are playing 'hot seat' mode iirc
