It all started with HoMM2. A friend discovered the demo on a CD (the Broken Alliance map). It took us 2 weeks to learn everything, develop some tactics and finish the map. We knew we needed the full game after that. Now replaying that map takes me 2 hours instead of 2 weeks.

The moment we saw Kastore's portrait we immediately made the connection with Might And Magic (we played the fourth game several years before), and a couple months after being done with HoMM2, we were getting into MM6.

Guess we just want to breathe new life into an old thread? I started playing H2 in 1998 endlessly, my favorite being the black dragons. I stopped playing after H4.

Yeah, I've never really played Heroes V, and I probably never will.

Nope, it's me! My HOMM series has been sitting quietly on a shelf and I suddenly got the urge to play again. So I thought I'd stop by and see if anyone was still following the series.

I am currently trying to figure out which game I like more: H3 or H4. It's like deciding which of your children you prefer.

I don't mean to cause any nausea, but please excuse me if I just play the gushing, annoying fanboy for a moment and tell you how much I enjoyed your "Playing With Fire" campaign from Armageddon's Blade. A masterpiece.

I started with the free demo of HOMM II and I played that one map 20+ times. Love it.

I don't have the same "children" affection with HOMM III and IV as Maranthea does (my gaming history is more in the Might and Magic games) so I say HOMM III is the best.
