We finally bought a new BED! Woot! We've been talking about it since Christmas. But never seemed to get me and hubby together on a sunny day when we could borrow the truck. It's a Serta with the extra thick mattress. This sucker is crotch high!

Now I'm having a nice cold Coke before going back out to shop for sheets. I'll have to get all new ones for these 'deep pockets'... but I don't want to buy more than one set before I find out if they fit or not. I've never had a mattress this thick before.

In the words of the little girl on "Despicable Me" - It's so FLUFFY!

Hmmmm... We actually laughed about that. Haven't tried out that position yet. When we went to 'Christen' the bed... We had a slight (teasing) disagreement over who should be on top and who got to enjoy the FLUFFY-ness.

We took turns.

Ahhhhh

Yesterday I saw 2012 again, the movie.

Is there anyone who believes there is going to be total destruction in 2012?

I wanted to see that, but never seemed to get around to it. We did re-watch 2010 last week. I'm not seeing any obelisks in the sky. The year 2K came and went without any major incidence. Prior to that, 1984 was a big let down as there was no Big Brother watching me.

Of course, who knows? Maybe the global governments only made up all those fictional cataclysms to lull us all into a false security. The 2012 Apocalypse has been foretold by more than one civilization. Astronomically speaking, that is when all the planets of our solar system will line up on one side of the sun - just like an elementary school project. Who knows what the gravitational shifts will do? If the science boys have any clue, do you think they would spread world wide panic by openly announcing that we are all going to die? Or would they fabricate some false hope by allowing us to 'survive' several other 'earth shattering events' that did not live up to the hype first?

Things to make the paranoid peeps among us go "Hmmmmm".

BTW, just because you are paranoid does NOT mean there is no one out to get you.

I've started this new training schedule, and my thighs are really stiff ... full of lactic acid. Phew. I need a massage. Oh, nurse! This way, please!

Dropped my dive computer in the sea after a crab hunt. )¤%#¤! :flame:

Gotta go back in and find it. Damned this surface time! I think I know where I dropped it, though; right underneath the pier. Fingers crossed ...

Edit: 16:15 ... Found it. :-D I'm the dive king of the wooorld! :D

No helium needed; air will do. All that's required is a buoy, actually. Just a rolled up mini-sausage, which you can fill with air. It consequently rises to the surface and floats. You also have the huge salvage blimp things, but those are for pros. A buoy is on my shopping list ...

Bravo on finding the lost equipment.

I had a friend from out of town come help me with my yard today. I'm SO VERY TIRED! But we got a lot done. Still a lot to BE done, but it was a really good start.

Got up early. Went to the dentist. Fixed my tooth. Went home. Had some breakfast. Possibly going diving later.

Just because you boys wear yourselves out doing Man-Scaping... Doesn't mean the rest of us aren't actually outside mowing grass and trimming the green, leafy type bushes - er - hedges!

And that takes some effort. :D

Just started snooping around for a car loan at the bank. Can do it over the Internet portals and everything, but it doesn't work properly, so I'm sending e-mails and stuff as well. I'll look around different banks for the best deal, and then I'll intensify my car search.

Hubby got the 'job' working with a local Amusement park to do their first ever Halloween opening. Now, I have to find the cheapest places for these tight wads to shop for props. Funny how everyone wants to do something super spectatcular, but they never want to loosen the purse strings.
