Yeah, it is pretty cartoony, but it's their first game, while the guys behind HoN already had a few under their belt... and the graphics are pretty clear, so it never gets confusing.

I spent some time the last days at LoL. It is a nice game indeed,
simiral to dota. I preferred the artwork of dota( warcraft 3) tbh,
but the gameplay is better, and as you said is very clear. I am
already 10 level, my summoner's name is Savatar and I already
chose my main champion(Morgana ). I don't have the time to
play often, but is a great game to spend an evening with few friends

Ok, this game makes me soooo anti-social
But really, I have played many multiplayer games,
but the chating of this game is really headache,
every one accuse every one , no matter if you win,
lose,play good or bad...haha. At least I enjoyed after
few games the calmness and serenity of a single player
game

I can't, it IP checks - same reason I can't log on to HoN right now (regional access restricted). I guess I could fake my IP address, though. I might give that a try eventually, someday.

I played LoL, Dota and HoN. I can say;

Dota is the most fun, HoN has a fast, nice gameplay. Also certain things of interesting. But LoL is a bit cartoony for me. I dont like that.

But i do like Team Fortress 2, which is cartoony!

Yes thats true, but different playing styles.

I always loved the Warcraft style, so thats why I picked Dota.

They are quite different actually. The biggest difference is HoN power level is much higher, with far more powerful carries. There's a reason why many good heroes in DotA aren't very popular in HoN.

BTW, i checked out the IP ban thing and it looks like they're doing it because SEA will be getting it's own servers SOON™!

Because if the power level of carries is much higher, the game focuses around carries. Several balance patches ago the main strategy was turtle until your carry farms up with no viable alternatives. Compared to DotA that means ganking strategies, pushing strategies etc don't work. That's a gameplay change. I'd say the problem is still there, just less severe.

SEA's supposed to get its own servers soon, but I haven't any clue when

But that's not gameplay, that's balance.

Starcraft had the same gameplay before and after 4 pool was fixed etc.

Balance changes can easily change the strategies used, but that's different from the game mechanics (which is what gameplay is).

You could say that, but since HoN shows no sign of being balanced away from this (compare HoN Venomancer vs. DotA Venomancer, for example) it's probably here to stay.
