Game developers at conventions always try to outdo each other with bigger screens, better graphics and louder sound effects to attract visitors' attention. Also included in this strategy are the "booth babes". Used in car shows, gun shows, sporting events and more, these have become a part of companies' product display without actually having anything to do with it. Banned from E3 in 2006, back a couple of years later, and probably there to stay. E3 Booth Babes
Well, it's normal I would say. When it comes to computers & games, we men usually have the feeling that we know enough. What we're more missing in our lives, is a hot babe next to us, because mostly we're too nerdy to attract one. And the organizers of such conventions know and exploit that. Now, in a way, we get to see what we like, and these girls get a chance to make some extra bucks. On the other hand, I can't fight the feeling that something is still not yet right with the world in this picture... I just can't put my finger on it.
