I have many, many interesting ways to torture a man.

---- But, back on topic! ----

Saw "Splice" last night. Most of it was pretty good. The effects for the 'creature' known as "Dren" were amazing. I love the way they can blend different techniques these days to make things look so real. It had a pretty good story line, nice character development, did a good job on developing audience sympathy for Dren... Then in the last 5 minutes, it's like the director said "OOops! This was a monster movie! Quick! Kill everyone and set up for the sequel! Roll Credits!" WTF?

Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

Yes, it is. I'm so glad that you pointed that out E.

And I've been playing "Freak the Mundanes" since before most of you pups were born. I get stranger stuff than Thunder Titan in my breakfast cereal.

Ah, but the page was bugged. You know, when it shows a new page one post too soon, so if you click it you get a "doesn't exist"-message.

Yeah. Hate it when that happens.

On topic - sort of...

My son and his girlfriend saw Toy Story last night. They said it was "Excellent and wraps up the story line nicely."

Maybe hubby and I will go see it soon. He has worked all weekend, including today (Father's day).

Sure, but we won't bother doing anything until that new phpBB3 comes along.

Just saw Inglorious Basterds, and although I adored the imagery, the clearly Ganz-inspired Wuttke, the Katee Sackhoff-like Mélanie Laurent and the omnilingual Christoph Waltz, I also think that Tarantino is repeating himself music-wise as well as in building mortality themes.

By the way, the contrafactual killing of Hitler (spelled Adolph, mind you) was done as early as 1984, with the game Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, so that "we couldn't get him in real life, so we got him on the screen" thing is nothing new.

Just now watching Aristocats with my two small nieces. Man, that pursuit scene with the dogs is amazing; pure Disney art.

Going to watch Shrek 4 on next weeked, before going on vacations to the North of my country, visiting my family for the first time since I have left home, 5 years ago.

I'm pretty much anxious, so I'm going to watch Shrek to relax a bit. Dunno if someone else has, have you? B-)
