Probably idea was to make mages weakest and begining and strongest at end, but it not work, they become powerfull from 5 level and its too fast, maybe when mage get powers at 50 lvl this could be ok. Or double amount of skillpoints need to master it. Magic is not so simple as using sword, need long study.

I have always wondered how much a H-Orc Barbarian or Knight does at levels around 250~

Barbarians getting 60+ attacks a round
Knights getting 50+ attacks a round

An Obsidian Flameberge dealing 54-70 damage per hit
An Obsidian Great Axe dealing 53-71 damage per hit

Plus if your weapon has any of the following that matches the unlucky monster... you deal triple damage!!

Dragon Slayer, Undead Eater, Golem Smasher
Bug Zapper, Monster Masher, Beast Bopper

I have no idea about level 250. When I played MM3 the second time I got up to level 100 before I ran out of money for training. I used a party of Knight, Barbarian, Thief, Paladin, Ranger, and Archer. I could take out most monsters with arrows and I didn't even have the best bows. The few times I had to melee I could take out the monsters before they ever got a hit on me.
