The artist contacted me about his Heroes II grasslands metal remix, so I thought I'd share it here. I'm always happy when musicians show the soundtrack some much needed love with a cover rendition. Maybe if the song gets popular, it'll encourage him to remix a few more HOMM songs.

That's so cool :) I wish I was able to play some MM tunes on my guitar... But I'm too bad ^^

I love it when some of my favorite videogame songs of all time get the metal cover treatment!!

Check out Vomitron too, he did some great metal cover of 80's nes games music.

I must say that as a guy who really isn't that much into metal genre in general, I have to admit that I found this piece of music really enjoyable. It's well made, has some great added stylistic details in it and judging by the overall feeling of the track, this is a work of a dedicated Heroes/metal music fan. Great stuff all around. I wonder if the fellow will be doing Heroes III tracks next? Wouldn't It Be Nice? ;)
