It's a continuation of Rev4 mod. I've downloaded it and will host it somewhere.
My patches: MM6 MM7 MM8. MMExtension. Tools. Also, I love Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground. I'm also known as sergroj.

It reminds me of Dragon Warrior and the combat looks like 7TH Saga, or Final Fantasy tactics.
..looks good so far.

I assume there's not a playable version yet?

Already it replace every items (and its statistic) in MM6
+few other graphic and new inventions

Its playable and make huge difference, but possibly its going to be larger: replacing all npc (gfx and talk options) and all monsters (location, stats)

Would this be possible? sorta like how grayface and GOG.com did the music in might and magic 6-8, but put the vocal tracks in a folder and have the game run the vocals from the hard drive instead of from the cd. possibly an engine to run the game like Exult for Ultima 7 part 1 and 2...

sorry, but are any of these (except for TCC) even being worked on anymore?

MMT is just rotting away in its own putrid fluid, New Order is "suspended" since january (9-10 months is the "declare it dead" point, usually mods will never pick up after that long time.) and the frontpage of MMX have not been updated since may and the server move.

feels like im looking at the "recently dead" pages in the newspaper.
Ultima, Elder Scrolls and Might and Magic Veteran.

Arturchix, could you put the date it was last updated beside the words "updated"? The word is useless otherwise.

I took the liberty of puting the new skilltable into a greyface exe so now the mod is playable with mouselook. I also did a minor change to mage so they can now have 2 daggers after promotion.
EDIT - This is the second upload. Now the new skilltables DO work. tested. sorry for the first incomplete post.

I remember once i found a tool from grayface that make the higher resolution for might and magic 7. What is the name of that and will it work with BDJ mod.

Check that one, its complete M&M6 graphic, items stats and npc mod (relased as demo because thare was supposed to be changes about monsters in future, but probably its final version)

Might and Magic VI sound issues fixed

I finally got the sound to work properly with all the new patches on XP professional SP3. Ignore this if you're going to try running with mp3s. This will not work for Grayface's mp3 solution.

The only reason I'm posting this is that I spent hours realizing that Grayface's patch contains a sound bug. I love this game, and I don't want anyone to struggle like I did.

1. Install the game.

2. Install the 1.2 official patch.

3. Download Mok's 1.3 patch,and run it. Take the DLL that it creates in your MM folder and copy it into another folder for use in step 5.

4. Download Grayface's most up to date patch (1.10 currently), and run the patch.

5. Copy the DLL out of mok's patch, and overwrite the one installed by Grayface as it's bugged.

Bam, it works.

Just for info, I also recommend the control mod written by grayface. It allows you to remap your keyboard commands to wasd or whatever you like.

Sound bug as in what? The only one I know is the looping music not working in Win7, but you're not on Win7.

How does one edit Might and magic 8.. I know how to edit sprites and look at the maps but i don't understand how to actually edit the game.. Please help.
