The next post will start closing Lot#7! Last call for Lot 6 items.
Lots 6-8 have three special "surprise rules" to keep things interesting. Surprise #1 - The 5000 gp bonus to new players has been extended through Lot#6. Invite your friends! Surprise #2 is still a mystery but will be known while Lot #7 is on sale. Surprise #3 will be launched in Lot #8.
New Rule: Three Objects originally included in the 170 items will no longer be sold in the Auction. They will be replaced by three "surprise" objects. The first object, parchment, was replaced by "Can of Spam." In Lot #6, the scroll has been replaced by Pandora's Box.
Everyone involved in the Auction has a current "credit" of 25,000 gold pieces (each)

Pandora’s Box (replaces Scroll), Relic, Miscellaneous, Anything or everything can be put into Pandora's Box. You might have a battle when you open the box. You may get a free artifact, experience, troops, morale, luck, spell(s), or even resources. Or just the opposite can occur: you might lose something. The fact is, you never really know! Sniper's Crossbow, Minor, Ranged, Increases the hero's Ranged Attack by 3, and negates all range penalties. All friendly creatures also have no range penalties. a55a55in, 7700.
Master's Spellbook, Major, Left Hand, Contains all third level spells. The hero must have the appropriate magic skills to cast the spells, Fyl, 1000

Ring of the Cobra's Eye, Minor, Ring, Creatures struck by the hero in combat are Poisoned (same as the Death spell).
Sextant, Treasure, Miscellaneous, Gives the hero +50% movement over the sea.
Tome of Chaos, Major, Left Hand, Contains all Chaos Magic spells. The hero must have the corresponding Chaos Magic skills to cast the spells.
Valder's Crossbow of Sloth, Minor, Ranged, Increases the hero's Ranged Attack by 5. Any target the hero strikes with a ranged attack will suffer from the effects of the Slow spell.
Deadwood Staff, Major, Right Hand, The staff begins each combat with 12 spell points and regenerates 4 spell points per round.
Dwarven Shield, Treasure, Left Hand, Gives all friendly targets +20% to their Melee and Ranged Defense. It also gives the hero +3 Melee and Ranged Defense.
Lion's Shield of Courage, Major, Left Hand, Increases the Melee and Ranged Defense of all friendly by 40%. It also gives the hero +3 Melee and Ranged Defense.
