So here I am, at work, talking to a collegue. Outside it's about -5 C and the usual snowy inferno (I live at above 70 degrees north). It's getting dark, and suddenly I see a flash of light outside. I go "Eh?", then 2... 3... *crack, rumble*.

I have never seen lightning under such conditions, and I find it highly peculiar.
Who the hell locks these things?

It went from snowing to warm weather here in a 2 week time span. Really weird but at least we got a taste of winter this year.

Happy first day of Summer to my fellow Northern Hemispherians. To celebrate, some idiot turned the sun up to 97 degrees today. Ugh.

We've had a lot of very nice days here. Lots of sun and warmth. It's not up to par with the same time the last couple of years..

Oh yeah! I never thought about that. It's winter in South Africa also. Doesn't seem to be very cold on the Football field.
