I dont know who else noticed, but the trents just went on a MAJOR diet, and the inquistors got completely redrawn. now they sort of hover above the ground and got some sort of crown instead of the halo.

Good they removed the halos, it was just to much christianity for me. The treants, eh looks like ants made of wood, never thought I would say it but the past versions of the H5 treants were a bit better. Im disappointed when it comes to the unicorns, the silver one is called unicorn and the upgrade "silver unicorn" is golden, those at UBI and Nival should learn about mythology before stating that their ideas are more correct. Unicorns are born golden and when they get older they turn silver so this decision from UBI is just lame. Good to see they kept the name Emerald Dragon even the dragon itself are in fact golden, but if you look closely it have nice green patches of bright emerald green on its scales =)

That map looks GORGEOUS!! I just may get it framed!

I always loved M&M's maps and am very glad to see Ubi is continuing the maps!

@Orfinn remember that there could be diffrent "laws of nature" in Ashan. I think this version is better looking, those Indian motives on the orange Unicorn are just gorgeous. Then again, You are right with the name: why the orange Unicorn is called Silver. In this situation they could have called it War Unicorn (there are already Wardancers but who cares?).

? What the...? Unicorns on Heroes Mini look diffrent from what we've seen this far (especially the Silver one). I don't get it...

I want that map. It reminds me of the old Ultima cloth maps.

It does look amazing. I'm glad some of those creature changes were made, though the Ents (c'mon who are we kidding, those guys have Tolkien written all over ;)) do look like they could use a three course meal.

What's the point of feeding the Ents? They'll just go in the bathroom and throw-up.

If somone get their claws in a collectors edition, bring the map up on the forums so all who havent bothered getting the special edition can see it in its fullest glory =D

Oh about the map, are each one of the big cities (including those without name) representing a town? And lool, the dark city in the north has a funny name, a norwegian name actually "Tor Myrdal" haha good one!

Regarding the unicorns: ubi and nival don't need to learn mythology. They need to learn proper english and chromatics: silver unicorns are silver, not golden, nor orange, nor whatever non-silver colour.

@Angelspit

I remember those cloth maps well. It's been a while since I saw one of those in a PC game!

I wonder if anyone tried to read the creature statistics from this picture. It's quite difficult, but some are quite clear. It seems that Emerald Dragon has 14 initiative now, Colossus has 175 hit points and Titan 190. It's very difficult to read Angel's and Archangel's HPs, but am I right that it is 185 / 230?
Cheers,
Boromir

Not if you give them their ent draught to drink. It's the only safe way to go. :D

As long as that "faction document" is included in the "super collector's edition" that I already ordered I'll be happy.

Why include real life religious symbolism in the game in the first place? And in such a tacky way at that?

Perhaps this factions document is older than the newest statistics, an old prototype? Most likely not, but maybe? Old designs? Or new.
