Alt-tabbing

Unread postby XenoWarrior » 18 Jan 2010, 21:21

A quick question: Is it possible to configure your game so you can alt-tab during AI turns and they'll still take their turns? Right now, i'd like to get through a heroes game while reading sites on my browser instead of looking at bars filling for ages.

Thanks in advance for answers!

If you "Alt-Tab" during AI-turns, the computer pauses its turn.

I just saw a Win 7 commercial last night, which showed a person running 2 apps at the same time. Does anyone know how to do this?

Same way you did it on all previous OS's? (a powerful computer so it won't freeze).

If you get patch 3.1 for TotE you will have windowed mode available. Alongside it comes an option to "stay active" which keeps the game going even when the window is out of use.
