Is there way to turn off additional towns?

As above, is there way to do that, I am talking about situation where I play 1 vs 1, on 8 players map and there's like 6 free towns. Can I remove them? By editing some files or using some kind of mod?

You mean you want to actually remove the towns from the map? That is, change the 8-player map to a 2-player map? If the map is a custom one, then you can simply go into the map editor and remove the towns. Or remove the other players, so the towns are still there, just unowned.

I think you want them to be "neutral", so they can be captured. You can also do this with the editor. I have used it very little, but I'm sure you can right click it and select "none`as the colour. Or, it may be in the one of the menus at the top.

That's what I was thinking about, so I can't edit non custom games map?

Hmm, I don't know shad,
I was just went into the editor and I could not find the original game maps either. Maybe they're not kept in the H5 directory?

Here is a link where you can find tons of maps, which you can edit as needed.

Thanks, I shall try custom maps then, I think original maps are kept in data.pak file so you can edit them by creating mod but I am not sure.

I'm playing "Seize the throne" right now, which I downloaded from there. It's quite good!
