So what type are you then
So what type are you then
Been playing TES: Oblivion a lot last days, and once again I'm a sinister mage\thief type. I always go for those in rpg-games, and in Morrowind and oblivion (only TES games I've played) you have a lot of freedom to customise your character. Currently in Oblivion I'm a vampire dark elf custom class relying on stealth and illusion\destruction magic. Pretty much the same in Morrowind, and as close as I can get in other rpg-games; as sinister an assassin with some support-wizardry as I can get.
So anyone else who play a lot of rpg-games noticed a pattern in what you play?

In real life, probably. Sadly, if I met you in a game my high principles would probably demand that you end up skewered on the end of my sword.Ethric wrote:Funny how different paths people choose in games, as I'm sure we could get along just fine in real life

I haven’t played Oblivion, but generally when I play any sort of RPG I’m a mage of one kind or another. For some reason the idea of flying, teleporting and flinging around lightening bolts appeals to me. If for some reason I couldn’t be a mage I’d probably be an archer—ranged attacks are generally positive, unless it’s a game where the bow is significantly harder to use than the sword.
I'd hear your clanking armour and loud principles a mile away and either be long gone or waiting in a dark cornerCorribus wrote:In real life, probably. Normaly I prefer Warlock type spellcasters. There's nothing like incinerating/shocking/freezing/smashing your oponents from a distance. After that a nice Barbarian type fighter, bashing people's heads in.
