MOVE catapult? What, does the game think the thing is equipped with an engine or something? Thanks to Yurian.

Move Catapult
I wanted to say the same thing as Ethric. And thanks to their graphics, I actually don't see why we couldn't have in WoG 3.59 for example a War Machines script which would allow us to move the Catapult and Ballista on the battlefield (for a better range, protect a troop, block a shooter etc).

Move Catapult
May be a bug if you have WoG installed and are playing SoD without the CD. I've encountered strange things playing H3 this way. But this is a good one.

It has been a while since this was tried, but I believe that it *IS* possible to give a war machine a movement rate. I seem to recall that we tried this with WoG, but even if a walking animation were added to the def for it, the game would crash if you tried to move it. I could be mistaken, but that is my recollection.

Move Catapult
I have to admit that I was thrilled about this "new feature" the first time around, but soon discovered that trying to "force" the catapult to move into another spot on the battlefield (in other words, the spot already occupied by the unit directly in front of the said war machine) would not crash the game but also would lead nowhere. As I recall from my accidental SoD and WoG expriments, both platforms caused the game engine to yield the same result: no action or more rarely, the catapult would automatically lose its turn passing it over to the unit next in line.
Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.
