Either a God made them that way or evolution... also, so you can walk better on your feet... duh.
Why do people object to killing tigers but not to killing mosquitoes?
Last i checked mosquitoes weren't an endangered species... and tigers weren't responsible for as many deaths as mosquito carrier diseases.
Why do we shed tears when we yawn?
Coz you're a wimp...
Why do we shed tears when we are sad?
see previous answer...
Why do people kiss as an expression of love when there're an infinity of things that could've been done instead?
Socially learned behaviour... just ask the eskimos.
What's the difference between love and like?
Like = i don't object to your presence/your presence is pleasing; Love = i feel the need to have you present;
How do Muslim restaurant owners survive Ramadan when all their patrons are fasting?
Same as you survive a vacation...
Why do people abhor killing when the body slaughters bacteria and viruses everyday?
Viruses are disputed as alive or not. And that's self defence...
Why do people fall in love with people of the opposite gender instead of the same? (I know there are homosexuals, but not many of them)
Easier to make babies that way...
Why doesn't grass die when it's submerged in a rainstorm (which can be for hours)?
Because they weren't stupid enough to acquire lungs like us animals.

Limbs not specialized for grabbing do not need long digits.
Why do people object to killing tigers but not to killing mosquitoes?
Because they do not value each life equally.

I'am not a good expert in explaining how lacrimal gland is regulated.

Sniffing and licking of potential mates is rather common among mammals. Most likely gives information about the quality (disease resistance, fertility etc) of partner. Maybe offers a challenge to test the compatibility of body chemistries (immune system).
What's the difference between love and like?
Different pattern of hormones.
