So Kane starts to work with GDI....either he plans to betray them again (most likely), or he is really desperate (and his "prophecies" were just lies).

Btw why has the GDI soldier P-90 submachine gun, which is in service since 1994 (so in 2062 it will be ~68 years old)?

The plot supposedly is that GDI and Nod teamed up and got Tiberium under control on Earth... and that vid takes place a decade or too before the events of the game.
