does winds of war need a patch?? i cant seem to find a patch for winds of war here... and is there any specific way to patch homm4??like patching the original first and then installing the expansions?? and which expansion should i install first?? tnx

Where's the section of Heroes of Might and Magic III ???

Go to the main site, and in the selection bar you must chose heroes 3. On the left you got a menu, click on the "patches" text and you are there!

Go to the main site, click the "Downloads" bar at the top, and then go to the "patches" pages. Click "Heroes III" and that will take you to the page linking directly to this page, with all Heroes 3 patches.

Help! I have all the versions of Heroes IV - Heroes IV, The Gathering Storm and Winds of War, so I know I need the US patches. Some questions:



Do I need to install each successive patch, e.g. first Heroes 4 ver 1.0 to 1.3 Std. US, then Heroes 4 ver 1.3 to 2.0 Std. US, thru Heroes 4 ver 2.2 to 3.0 Std. US?



Do I need to install both Std and GS (Gathering Storm) patches?

I don't see any Winds of War patches. Are there any?



I don't understand the purpose of the UbiSoft patches. Do they replace the other patches or are they in addition to the other patches?



If for some reason the patches don't work, can you still play standard

scenarios/campaigns or do you have to uninstall EVERYTHING and reinstall the original Heroes IV again?



Is there an "Equilibrious for Dummys" book out there somewhere? Or any step by step installation manual?



I apologize, but I am on very shaky ground when it comes to this kind of thing and would deeply appreciate any help.
