X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Unread postby ThunderTitan » 06 May 2009, 10:24

... is actually pleasantly surprising... the only annoying thing is that they obviously didn't manage to add in all the blood and stuff because of the stupid "meet the film's release" deadline... and the fact that it's a console game (repetition ahoy).

your illusions of originality are cute... now lets move on.

BTW, it looks like in the movie-verse Nightcrawler is half-black... if the game is canon at least. Weirdly it actually makes sense.

I played the demo and yes, it's actually surprisingly fun. If the full game can live up to that then it ranks as one of the best games out right now in my book.
You'd think Darkmoor was a ghost town, but instead there's plenty of life among the dead.

Decent game based on film? These are rare! Definitely looking forward to trying this out.

The game rocks, because it was developed by Raven Software. Love these guys, they sure know how to make good action games (Soldier of Fortune, Quake 4, X-Men Legends, Marvel Ultimate Alliance). Oh, and they're also developing the new Wolfenstein game! :D
