Having a P4 system running @ a 800FSB + two cards of RAM of at least 512Mb @400FSB(total of 1024Mb) + a graphics accelerator card allowing avanced 3D resolution with 128Mb extra video buffing, is, quite a minimum requirement for such immensely advanced interfaced game.
Besides, new computer owners of today, will undenyingly have the AMD 64bit processor and 1600MhzFSB type system; they're available in North-America at the low price, in between, 600 to 1000+dollars canadian & american currencies.
So, I quite, recommend saving a little more money than usual to make the real upgrade jump in your gaming/video playback's new life.
Enjoy the new 886+computers everyone!!!
To answer many of your functionality questions: A 486DX4 will definitlely not cut it. Maybe the P3 1.0Ghz will do, but not too sure on this one.
