Speed up AI turns
Hey guys. I haven't played H5 in quite a while and was wondering if there was any way to speed up the AI turns? I recall there was a special code that we could put in to do this (but at the cost of "dumbing down" the AI). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sure you can.

Ok so I tried it. Changed the "setvar ai_time_limit = 180000" to "setvar ai_time_limit = 18000" (just took a 0 out).Elias_Maluco wrote:Hum. Got to try this. I wonder if it makes the AI even more stupid?
Turns does not seens to be all that faster, but it never takes an absurd amount of time either. Ive seen a single computer player take more than 10 minutes before, it seens like this setting prevents it.
At the same time, AI does appears to be less effective than before. Playing on a extra large map, after taking some time to build myself up a take everything from my starting area, I proceed to find computer players with low level heroes, few troops, undeveloped cities (most dont even have fort). Maybe I got lucky, maybe I was too fast for then, but I dont think so.
It seens like changing this setting to something too low may cripple the AI.
