I watched "Twilight" the other day. And though it's alright, it's just kinda...slow. It would do much better as a television series. Nothing really happens, and there's no real action. But Robert Pattinson is kinda cute :D

UR kind is ruining the world...

And really, you found it ok for someone to watch you nightly without your knowledge? Hmm... time to take out the old window climbing kit and stalker clothes...

Well part of the problem was that, unlike most (any?) other Bond films, this was a direct sequel to the previous film. Meaning that if you weren't familiar with the details of the earlier film, much of the new film made absolutely no sense. So for most of the movie, I kept thinking, "Who the hell are they talking about?"

Another thing: Bond films have always had a lot of great action sequences, but they were never totally about the action sequences. This movie just seemed to go from one action sequence to the next, with none of the cerebral dialogue scenes to set it apart from any old B-action movie. In other words, the stylish, coctail-quaffing, tuxedo-wearing Bond was nowhere to be found in this movie. Just disappointing I guess.

Ugh NO, that part was sorta creepy. And that Bella girl must be pretty messed up considering she doesn't have much to say about him staring at her at night. That was really lame! :disagree:

I'm wondering though, why did you see it TT? :devious:

I read the synopsis and it sounded hilarious... i mean really... sparkling vampires...

And it was all based on a wet dream the mormon chick that wrote it had... now there's a recipe for comedy gold...

Also, i saw the 2 leads talking about it on TV, and they both gave off a "God i hate this crap" vibe... check out the quotes thread for RPattz's comments on it...

Hmm, couldn't really see the sparkle-thing since I saw it online. Poor quality and all that :P But it did sound weird. And the two didn't have a lot of chemistry either.

Mormon?! Allright.

Just watching an old Bond movie. One of the good ones; The Living Daylights. The Norwegian pop group "a-ha" did the theme song for that, did you know?

That *is* a good one. Actually, my father owns most of the Bond films on DVD. I've been meaning to borrow them.

Saw The Clone Wars, the pilot to the series that Lucas ended up releasing in theaters. It looked much better than I expected (the very smooth character animations compensate for the funny faces) and the plot was enjoyable, even if the idea of the Jedi sending their best elements to rescue Jabba's son doesn't make much sense. The voice acting was good and we had a problem telling the replacements from the real ones. However, the continuous bickering between Jedi have been annoying to say the least, and I can't remember the last time I saw an interesting lightsaber duel (oh yes, I remember now, it was in The Phantom Menace ten frickin' years ago). I can't wait for the full Clone Wars season to come out on DVD.

Anakin vs Obi-Wan wasn't too bad.

But as for that Clone Wars movie - complete rubbish

Too much action, too little story, just like the new Bond movie.

I really don't think that there was too much action. It was good balanced IMO, I think it'sagreat movie. Story wastold good, and the action was cool. I must agre that Deadpool could be better,he reminded me of Barakka from Mortal Combat 2...
