HoF patch 2.01

Im trying to install the patch. But i recieve and error message stating that the original game was not found. I am pretty sure i downloaded the right patch. 2.01 cd retial version. I use to play heroes three all the time and am tryin to get back in it but this is stopping my progress. I can play HoF and Tribes of the east, but when i play online with him it gives me an error, check mods and patches.
