I'm with them here, K, there must be cheese in burgers! Otherwise it's not a proper burger ;)

Then you have to bring your own. I tend to say that people can have whatever they want on my burgers, but cheese is just so... cheesy.

Steak fondue. Check it out. Fresh beef, assorted vegetables, light bread and two types of butter, accompanied by a truly excellent 2004 Chateauneuf de Pape. :yummy:

The angle fools you. There's more than 600 g of beef in that bowl. And along with all the vege and bread, that's more than enough for three people.

Excellent notion. And you will of course have some wine with that, and tell us about what you've been cooking? :oex:

Indeed. No, seriously, it doesn't take much of an effort to go the shop, get some bread things and then make some decent sandwiches. But you're right about the not-having-much-to-do thing. When I was studying there were classes, and I went to work every other day or so... and there were lots of other things to do with my spare time. Here in Risør (it's such a small town) I sit most of the day, grazing the Internet for jobs and organizing applications; in my spare time I don't really do much. So it's nice to make an effort with the food some times, at least.

Yeah, there are some people here, but not that many. The town has about 2.000 citizens only. Problem is that most of the people I know and grew up with don't live here any more. I meet some of them occasionally, but that's not enough to give me something to do on a daily basis, other than the stuff I can come up with on my own.

This weekend though, the local SCUBA diving club is going out. And I'm going to Sandefjord tomorrow to watch the England U-21 team play Norway. :)

Buuut back to food. I'm wondering what I should eat for dinner. Pasta? Nah, had that yesterday. Pizza? I've been eating so much of that recently... Maybe I'll just whip together some eggs... or make meatballs.
