The Football (Soccer) Topic
Me, being a Spurs fan, have to go with the Lily Whites, of course. Now, let's bring out some facts about it... Arsenal have the better team at the moment, but the London derby is almost always even; the teams could play in different divisions, and it would still be close. This time around, Spurs have home advantage. That matters. Also, Keano is back - that matters also.
I think it will be deceptively even and I also suspect Spurs will find the match difficult. I hope, however, that once again the scoreboard will show 5-1 at the final whistle.

Be careful with such language! Tottenham are in position to be relegated.Kalah wrote:the teams could play in different divisions

I also think it will be even. Clichy has been strong for Arsenal, he will neutralize Lennon. On the other hand King should be returning and he and Woodgate can out-muscle Van P***

So did Keane and Lennon.Kalah wrote:Pavlyuchenko had several chances.
I counted 4 passes from Jenas that went straight to the other team. One of them led to that situation where Corluka gave the ball up on the endline. That should have been a goal. By my count he made 2 other short passes that went to teammates. He also did a 40 yard pass that went out of bounds. Zokora wouldn't have done better?

Yep, that I agree. Pity that the two goals happened on my way back home. So I didn't watch the game in the end. Well, that's the odds when Brazil plays a little better, I'm not watching.PhoenixReborn wrote:Robinho made a nice goal against Italy. Skillful:

We'll beat the tigers, no worries.
Btw, I just read this story of how Lehmann recently hid an opponents' shoe when Stuttgart were playing against Hoffenheim... The winger lost it and Lehmann was quick to pick it up and put it on top of the goal. Then he pretended nothing had happened while the winger looked around for his shoe.
