OK i can understand, but good?! Why is it that ppl have such low standards when i comes to zombie movies?!

Oh, and i finally got to watch the original The Day the Earth Stood Still... Arthur C. Clarke was right, that film is one of the great SF movies of the 20th century...

Watching State of Play - it's good fun. The Brits could teach the Yanks a thing or two about making good miniseries'.

Funny thing is England is a small country, film-wise. I'm sitting here, checking the actors out on imdb.com, winding up the threads and finding several series, films and stuff they've appeared in together before... or they've got former work-partners in common, linked via a third movie or show. It's like they've all got something in common. :D

RE: Degeneration is worth a watch (but you'd have to be a bit familiar with the games).

Oh right, it was more like one of the early adaptation of a novel...

Actually they can teach everyone a dozen or two things about making a good crime and suspense series for TV.
For example, after watching 2 seasons of Wire in the Blood we decided to try out Touching Evil. Watched the first season during Xmas holiday; amazing stuff, really.
The immediate connection is, by the way, that State of Play was written and produced by the same guy who did the first season of Touching Evil.
ZZZzzzz....

I saw David Morse tonight at Staples about 1 minute from where I live. That was pretty cool. Didn't even know he lived in my area.

Hehehe, that reminds me: I didn't know our current prime minister lived a few blocks away from me when he was mayor of the city I live in.

There's a new Norwegian splatter coming out; a Nazi zombie movie. I won't watch it. Don't like splatters.

Yes, it's called "Død snø" ("Dead snow"). Here's a link to a trailer.

(oh and soundtrack was superb)

I don't remember the soundtrack but I liked the movie. Though you'll have to excuse some scenes where Tom Cruise seemingly has 9 lives ;)

Just watched tropic thunder, be prepared for lots of laughs :D Oh and if you manage to guess who is playing Les Grossman before seeing the credits you win a cookie. Holy cow I never saw that coming.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I just bought (on sale, yes, sir!), on DVD, a movie called Merlin's Apprentice. Produced in 2006, it's a sequel to the hit TV film Merlin, from 1998 starring Sam Neill as Merlin and Miranda Richardson as Lady of the Lake.

I hope this experience is worth the hastily spent 10 €uros. (13 USD)

"Merlin" was good. Haven't seen the sequel, there is no sequel as far as I'm concerned.

Saw both - Merlin was good, not so good as Excalibur but also have some "magic".

"Merlin's Apprentice" is crap, don't even watch it. It have nothing with "Merlin" beside Sam Neill - character story is different.
