So I have downloaded all of the old maps, and have had no problem getting the maps to show up.
However, I am not doing something right with the campaign maps.
What file do they go under exactly?
Do I need to change file extensions?
Right now the files are zip files in my download folder.
I believe I extracted them into the maps folder to no avail.
Please help me out.
Need help on playing HOF campaigns in TOE
Can you give me the link from where you got them so I can help?
If you downloaded each map separately, and if you're using Internet Explorer then the problem might lie in the fact that it tends to rename every downloaded zip package as .zip, even when it's supposed to be something different.
To get around this problem you must rename the downloaded map files (which are .zip) to .h5m (change the extension) and then place them in the Maps folder. If you're unable to see and modify the extension you need to let Windows display it for you. I don't know how it's for Vista since I have XP, but for XP go to My Computer, Tools -> Folder Options then View tab, and untick "Hide extensions for known file types", and then click the "Apply to All Folders" button. After that you'll be able to change the extension of those .zip files to .h5m

No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.
I downloaded the HOF campaign map files from Age of Heroes.
So they coime packaged as a zipped folder. I extracted the files. This leaves you with a HOF_Campagins folder which inside holds all of the .h5m map files (15 in all)
The map files each look like this:
A1C1M1.h5m
So I have tried moving the HOF-Campaigns folder into the Maps file
and I have tried copying and pasting all fo the individual maps directly into the Maps folder.
Nothing has opened up more campaign options in TOE.

Copy and Paste all the individual maps in the Maps folder.
But you won't see them as campaigns, they'll be available as single player scenarios.
